Halloween is coming quickly

One of my favorite holidays throughout the year is Halloween. Nope, it’s not because of the women dressing slutty (I’ve never really been to a party that did that, anyway), it is because of the horror movies and the candy. Mmmm candy!

I absolutely love the dark chocolate snickers. Sadly, they aren’t available here. Damn. Oh well. That’s Ok, as long as I have Freddy, Jason, and the many other slasher films I’m doing well.

In the Philippines, although there are some costumes, Halloween isn’t celebrated very much. What people call “Halloween” here is actually All Souls Day. They go to the cemetery, light some candles, say some prayers, and sing. Very nice, right? But not exactly Halloween like in the US.

It is almost that time of year again. Yep, Christmas is coming soooooon! Yay! Actually, I’m more excited about December in general, but Christmas should be fantastic this year. I hope!

Anyway, I love poetry, as do millions of others around the world. However, it wasn’t until recently that I discovered there is such a thing as poetry jewelry. Who would have thunk it? It is pretty darn cool to be honest.

I hope you all started planning on the gifts you’ll buy this year. Christmas is coming up quickly.

I’m currently living in the Philippines, but at the moment I’m not at “home” here. I’ve been traveling a little bit within Bacolod as opposed to my home in Cavite on Luzon.

Things are a bit different here. Jeeps are different, people speak a different language (Ilongo as opposed to Tagalog), Robinsons Place is actually nice, and I haven’t seen a bus here. Instead, people take jeeps everywhere as opposed to the buses used for traveling in Cavite. Quite interesting!

A few years ago, I wrote a lot of funny poetry which didn’t get much attention on the website. I didn’t promote it, didn’t tell anyone about it, and linked it in a place which didn’t get much action. I have since moved it, changed the titles, and am now starting to promote it.

So please, check it out and share them if you like. They are poems based off of nursery rhymes. They try to be funny. Please check them out.

I’ve been doing a lot of work lately on several different subjects. I’m a web developer, but have mainly taken the role as content creator and link builder. It’s a crap job. In fact, I hate it and the money has only gone down the past 6 months.

Nonetheless, I’m still doing it. I’m pretty much broke, but have hopes that things will improve in the future with hard work and finding work on the side.

I May Be Bad But I’m Perfectly Good At It

I’ve never considered myself to be good at anything; I’m simply OK at a lot of things. Excelling is never something I’ve been able to do.

I take it easy. I like my leisure time. I like being able to do what I want almost anytime I want. The problem is, that isn’t what is best for my future.

I have a job. I make enough money to support myself and my supposed family. However, I don’t know when it will end and if it does what will happen.

Anyway, I’m good at doing what I do. That is, towing the line of doing as little as possible and making a living.

The one plus in all of this is patience. I have a ton of patience and it has done me a lot of good over the years. From keeping girlfriends to waiting for something to happen.

I guess that’s why I am decent at marketing. I can wait for results and work towards those results. Well, work… but not too hard.
